Office of the General Counsel

The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) for Commander, Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central (CNREURAFCENT) consists of a Command Counsel and seven attorneys: including two host nation lawyers (Italy and Spain).

The office provides legal advice and agency representation to and on behalf of the Regional Commander headquartered in Naples, Italy, headquarters staff, installation commanders (NAVSTA Rota, NSA Naples, NAS Sigonella, NSA Souda Bay, NSA Bahrain, NSF Deveselu, and Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti) and program directors in all areas of OGC practice, including business law,international law, host nation laws, SOFA related issues, civilian personnel matters, environmental law, government contracts, theater alignment, fiscal law, standards of conduct, and litigation.
