Area Orientation

Area Orientation Mission Statement
The NSA Naples Area Orientation program supports arriving personnel and their families and will:

  • Consolidate and effectively communicate available local resources and continuously improve the effectiveness of the AO website.
  • Support AO stakeholders to develop on-demand formatting (over mandatory briefings) and maximize the ability to deliver pre-arrival customer education and services.
  • Teach local OPSEC, emergency preparedness, and cultural awareness keys-to-success.
  • Provide timely and accurate information on local policies and procedures that are unique to the OCONUS or Naples area.
  • Facilitate the smooth and expeditious application of Italian government requirements.

We strive to achieve the highest possible culture of preparedness and mission readiness, and will continuously improve through rigorous application of customer satisfaction survey scores and quarterly program updates based on customer feedback.
