RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

The Religious Ministry Team provides a generous variety of educational experiences on a regular and seasonal basis including Men’s and Women’s Groups, Bible Studies, Relationship and Personal Growth seminars, Catholic OCIA and much more.


COMMUNITY RELATION PROJECTS
The Command Religious Program includes daily volunteer opportunities in collaboration with our Camp Volunteer organization - The Friends of Africa Association - including English Discussion Groups, Orphanage Visits, School Programs, Outreach to the Poor, CARITAS Day Shelter for Street Children and other groups.  We work in conjunction with the US Embassy, The Djiboutian Government, and local Religious Leaders.   Please contact the Chapel Office for More information.


SUICIDE PREVENTION CLASSES
ASIST (Applies Suicide Intervention Skills Training) - At an ASIST workshop, you’ll learn how to recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide and how to provide a skilled intervention and develop a safety plan.
 
SafeTALK (Suicide Alertness for Everyone) trains individuals to recognize the signs of suicide, intervene, and get people in crisis the help they need to stay safe and eventually thrive.
 
CHAPLAINS RELIGIOUS ENRICHMENT DEVELOPMENT OPERATION (CREDO)
The CREDO Resiliency Retreat is a two-day, chaplain-led experience offered monthly for active-duty service members. CREDO offers transformational retreats and workshop-based programs designed to assist service members in developing the spiritual resources and resiliency necessary to excel in the military environment.
