Disaster Preparedness

The next time a disaster strikes you may not have much time to act so prepare NOW for a sudden emergency.  You can learn how to protect yourself and cope with a disaster by planning ahead, staying informed and making a kit. 

This list of helpful hints and tips will better prepare you and your family in the event of a disaster.  Discussing these tips with your family and then posting your plan in a common area will help better prepare you. For additional information about how to prepare for hazards in your community you can contact the Emergency Management Office at 727-1677.
