NAVSTA Rota is a tenant on Spanish Base. As such, it is important to remember you are guests of the Spanish Navy and the country of Spain. You are an unofficial ambassador of the United States. Therefore, your conduct should be professional at all times.
All personnel (Officer and Enlisted) will receive a PIM or NOB FITREP/EVAL from their respective Rota departments prior to checking out at the end of their training.
If "AT" overlaps advancement exams, ensure exams are sent prior to arrival in Rota.

All Officers reporting to NAVSTA Rota (UIC: 62863) must report to the Staff Judge Advocate's office (Bldg. 1) during their first workday onboard for a "conflict of interest" brief. This does not apply to officers reporting to tenant commands onboard NAVSTA Rota (i.e., Naval Hospital, NCTAMS, NMCB, etc.).
Request all Reservists call or email home during their first few days in Rota to provide contact info to family or anyone who may need to reach them during their stay in Rota. Detailed phoning instructions are provided in the hand out during check-in.
Reservists are strongly encouraged to use the "buddy system" when and/or traveling around the local area.
