Safety Tips

  1. Keep Fire Exits and Escape Routes Clear
Always make sure fire exits and escape routes are free of clutter and easy to access. This ensures quick evacuation in case of an emergency.
  2. Maintain Facility Safety
Regularly follow up on fire safety deficiencies, and place work orders for any needed repairs or corrections to ensure your building remains compliant with fire safety standards.
  3. Take Part in Fire Drills and Safety Training
Get involved in fire drills and safety courses to learn how to safely use a fire extinguisher, evacuate a building, and help others in an emergency.

In Case of Fire

  1. Activate nearest Manual Pull Station.
  2. Call (DSN) 9-1-1 or (Comm) 081-568-4911
  3. Report your location (Bldg #)
  4. If time permits, close doors and windows to confine the fire. Do not endanger yourself or others in this effort.
  5. Use equipment at hand to extinguish the fire pending arrival of the Fire Department only if this can be done safely.
  6. After evacuating, ensure accountability (Muster) is conducted.
