The ITO serves in a dual role as the installation’s integrated operations training and exercise program manager and the ITT coordinator. Our team plans, coordinates, and runs training and exercise events that prepare the installation to respond to real-world situations. 


The Installation Training Officer (ITO): 

  • Manages the basewide training and exercise program. 

  • Brings together emergency responders, security, medical, and support teams to practice working as one. 

  • Organizes drills and large-scale exercises so the installation can test and improve its readiness. 

  • Works with tenant commands and mission partners to meet Navy and higher-headquarters requirements.
