Port Operations

150608-N-VJ282-008 NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 8, 2015) – Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Porter (DDG 78), right, USS Donald Cook (DDG 75), center, and USS Ross (DDG 71) are moored pier side in Rota. This is the first time the three forward-deployed ships have been in port together since being forward-deployed to Rota, Spain as part of the president’s European Phased Adaptive Approach to NATO’s ballistic missile defense in Europe.
