Media Inquiries/Consultas de los medios de comunicación
Commander, U.S. Naval Activities Spain/U.S. Naval Station Rota Public Affairs is responsible for all media queries pertaining to U.S. Naval Station Rota, National Support Element Madrid, National Support Element Valencia, National Support Element Lisbon (Portugal), and all matters related to the conduct of U.S. military personnel serving in Spain. For all media inquiries, please provide name, news entity represented, contact email and phone number, and requested deadline for information. In accordance with the Agreement of Defense Cooperation between the U.S. and Spain, all media queries from Spanish media entities and/or journalists will be forwarded to the Spanish Ministry of Defense for initial response. Please allow additional time for vetting and response in that circumstance.

La oficina de Public Affairs de Commander, U.S. Naval Activities Spain/U.S. Naval Station Rota es la responsable de gestionar las consultas de los medios relacionadas con U.S. Naval Station Rota, National Support Element Madrid, National Support Element Valencia, National Support Element Lisbon (Portugal) y con todos los asuntos referentes al personal militar de EE.UU. que sirve en España. Todas las consultas deben incluir nombre, medio de comunicación al que representa, dirección de email y número de teléfono de contacto, así como la fecha límite solicitada para recibir la información. De acuerdo con el Convenio de cooperación para la defensa entre el Reino de España y los Estados Unidos de América, todas las consultas recibidas de los medios españoles serán reenviadas al Ministerio de Defensa de España para una primera respuesta. Media Embark Requests/Solicitudes de los medios de comunicación para acceder a la base
Due to Naval Station Rota being guests onboard a Spanish military installation, all requests for media embarkation of the installation for journalistic coverage will need to be vetted and approved by the Spanish Fleet Public Affairs Office prior to review and approval from Commander, U.S. Naval Activities Spain/Naval Station Rota Public Affairs. The Spanish Fleet Public Affairs Office can be contacted at orpflota@fn.mde.es.

Dado que U.S. Naval Station Rota se encuentra en una base española, todas las solicitudes de acceso a la base de los medios de comunicación deberán ser autorizadas por la Oficina de Relaciones con la Prensa de la Flota antes de su aprobación por la Oficina de Public Affairs de Commander, U.S. Naval Activities Spain/Naval Station Rota Public Affairs. Interview Requests/Solicitudes de entrevista
Commander, U.S. Naval Activities Spain/Naval Station Rota Public Affairs is responsible for all requests for interviews of U.S. military and civilian personnel stationed onboard U.S. Naval Station Rota, National Support Element Madrid, National Support Element Valencia, National Support Element Lisbon (Portugal). For all interview requests, please provide name, news entity represented, contact email and phone number, rank and command/job of personnel requested for interview, reason for interview, and sample interview questions.

La oficina de Public Affairs de Commander, U.S. Naval Activities Spain/U.S. Naval Station Rota es la responsable de gestionar las solicitudes de entrevistas a personal militar y civil de EE.UU. en U.S. Naval Station Rota, National Support Element Madrid, National Support Element Valencia y National Support Element Lisbon (Portugal).
