The opportunity to live overseas is exciting, but it can also cause some stress, as you will face some unique and sometimes unexpected challenges. A successful move overseas can take several months of preparation, so you will want to get started as soon as possible. We created this guide to answer many of the questions you may have about your new home, as well as to help provide a smooth transition into the NSA Souda Bay community. It includes tips and resources for our military personnel, U.S. civilian employees, and family members. This guide provides a general overview, but we encourage you to make early and frequent contact with your sponsor as he or she can find answers to your detailed questions and walk you through the transition process.
