CMDCM Randy Dickerson

Command Master Chief Randy Dickerson is a native of Fredericksburg, Va. and attended boot camp at Great Lakes, Ill on December 1999. He completed Aviation Electronics Technician “A” school in Pensacola, Fla. and reported to his first duty station at Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (AIMD) Naval Air Station Oceana Sea-op Detachment. While stationed there he deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67).
 
 Upon his return from deployment, he transferring to AIMD Mayport to support several helicopter (SH-60B) squadrons. He would accept orders to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 31 in Beaufort, S.C. where he would deploy aboard the nuclear aircraft carriers USS Enterprise (CVN 65) for two tours and USS Nimitz (CVN 68) for one tour.
 
His next duty assignment would return him to Great Lakes, Ill, as a Recruit Division Commander where he advanced to chief petty officer. His departure from Recruit Training Command would take him back to Nimitz part of ship’s company in AIMD. Upon completion he received orders to fill in as the command master chief at MALS 24. During this tour he was selected for Command Senior Chief program 2015 followed by his advancement to command master chief in 2017.
 
His first two command master chief tour would be assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 77 and Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 115, both attached to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5.
 
Dickerson arrived as the installation command master chief at NAS Sigonella in July 2022.
   
Command Master Chief Dickerson is a qualified Master Training Specialist and has an associate’s degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautics University and is working towards his bachelor’s degree in Psychology through University of Maryland. His awards include; Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5), Military Outstanding Service Medal and various unit and campaign ribbons.
