The work involved includes yard maintenance to clear overgrown vegetation. This will make way for the construction of a chicken coop, a playground area for a summer camp benefiting underprivileged children, and an herbal garden cared for by homeless individuals and those undergoing rehabilitation for substance abuse issues at the church. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their gardening tools, if available; however, the church will also provide some tools. Additionally, the church has generously offered refreshments to all participants.
