Join us in making a difference for our beautiful Sicilian coast! The mayor of Riposto is organizing a beach cleanup event to show his community’s commitment to protecting the marine environment. Your participation will send a powerful environmental message to our community and beyond. Let's come together to clean up Sicilian beaches and stand against littering. Volunteers participating in the beach cleanup are encouraged to bring the following items to ensure a safe and comfortable experience: comfortable clothing made from light, breathable fabrics like cotton; sturdy, closed-toe shoes for protection against sharp objects and support on uneven terrain; a hat or ballcap; sunscreen; UV-protective sunglasses; and a reusable water bottle, with extra water recommended for staying hydrated. Additionally, volunteers should bring durable work gloves. The organizers will provide trash bags and refreshments.
