Mr. Paul Lopez

Paul Lopez, a native of Sacramento, California, has worked for the Navy for 32 years both CONUS and OCONUS. He entered federal service as a quality of life professional, cultivating his passion for service and community.

From May 2023 to present, Paul served as the EURAFCENT Executive Director. Prior to that, he served on the Region staff as the EURAFCENT Fleet and Family Readiness Director (N9), February 2020 to May 2023; and as the EURAFCENT Fleet Readiness Director (N92), November 2017 to February 2020.

From October 2013 to November 2017, Paul served the NAS Sigonella community as the Fleet Readiness Director.  He also served in Yokosuka, 2011-2013, as the Fleet Readiness Director with oversight of MWR, Galley and Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS); as well as the Recreation Director, 2005-2011. Prior to that, while working for MWR, Paul served military communities at Edwards Air Force Base (2004-2005), NS Rota (1998-2004), NAS Point Mugu (1992-1993, 1995-1998) and Navy Outlying Landing Field San Nicolas Island (1993-1995).

His most notable professional awards include the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award (2013), and the Air Force Civilian Achievement Award (2005).
